Our client is a respected supplier of High Purity water systems for numerous applications. They have a small team culture in a low politics environment, and have strong technical and financial resources of a large organization. They manufacture equipment skids that meet the highest quality standards offering design, process and automation engineering, quality and project management, fabrication, testing, startup, and service.
The role will develop new accounts and maintain existing accounts for the Aftersales /Service department within North America. This will be accomplished by building relationships with customers in-person and remotely, providing applications support onsite, hosting lunch-&-learns, presentations and attending conferences. Apply technical knowledge to solve customer challenges as needed. Prepare proposals for field service work as necessary. Travel will be extensive and focused in New England and Northeast, and some to the Southeast and West Coast.
Bachelor’s degree preferred in a technical field plus 3-5 years of previous service sales or business development experience related to pharmaceutical and biotech water treatment. Technical knowledge of the water treatment industry and electro-mechanical equipment. Strong verbal, presentation, negotiation, and written communication skills with an ability to build relationships, resolve issues and handle customer objections. Proficiency in ERP/CRM systems, MS Excel, Word and Outlook.
